Susan graduated as a physiotherapist from Trinity College, Dublin in 2000. Since then she has worked in both the public and private health systems in Ireland and in New Zealand. Susan completed a postgraduate diploma in Sports Medicine at the University of Otago in 2018.

​Susan's interest in Pilates began early in her career when she completed the Stott Pilates matwork training. She currently runs her own mat Pilates studio and sports physiotherapy clinic in Blenheim. She believes that Pilates helps people to be better at everything else they do in life!
