FAQs
Are mats provided?
Everything in studio you need is provided, we have mats and all equipment required available. You may want to bring a small sweat towel and a bottle of water with you if you like.
Do I need a referral?
No referral needed for Physiotherapy, Pelvic health Physiotherapy, or Osteopathy. You can fill out ACC claims in the clinic if required, or we can claim under an existing ACC number if you are covered. You can also pay privately if you aren't under ACC.
What happens if I can't make it to a class or appointment?
For all classes - 12 hours, or full cost of class is charged. For appointments (clinical pilates and physiotherapy/osteopathy), 24 hours or 50% charge.
Are your classes suitable for beginners?
Absolutely! We have a specific class on Saturday at 10am for beginner reformer participants, however all of our classes are suitable for those who have never done any yoga or pilates before. If you prefer to start with a gentler form of yoga - try the Yin class first.
I have an injury, can I still come?
Our clinical pilates classes are best for you! We will book you in with a Physiotherapist for an initial assessment where we will assess your pain, strength, posture and movement - and create a programme specifically for you to rehabilitate. You will then join a small group class, where you will guided through your bespoke exercise programme.
What is better, yoga or pilates?
Our unlimited offer is designed for those who haven't done a class before, and don't know what to choose! Pick a day to start, and you can come to as many different classes as you like. $30 1 week, $50 2 weeks.
How long are the classes?
Our reformer & mat pilates classes are 55 minutes, and yoga is 60minutes.
