Celia has been working in the area of Pelvic Health since she was introduced to this area of Physiotherapy when working at Invercargill Hospital in 2011. Since then Celia have developed more of a passion for the area working in hospitals and private practice both in Australia and New Zealand and completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Continence and Womens Health at Curtin University in Perth.
During Celia's time working as a Physiotherapist she have treated women through all life stages including pregnancy, post-natal recovery (including mastitis care), menopause, osteoporosis, pre- and post-operative care. Celia loves working with women at any stage of their life to assist them in optimising their pelvic and overall health whether it be to improve bladder and bowel problems, pelvic pain, sexual concerns, staying active during pregnancy or return to sport post-natally.
Outside of Physiotherapy Celia loves to ride her mountain bike, run around the beautiful trails, cook and read a good book. Celia is looking forward to exploring more of the Marlborough region while she is part of the Wellness Station team!
