Wellness Station will always be a safe place for you to visit. We consistently update our practices depending on the latest government guidance, and will always maintain the highest safety protocols to keep all of us well. This relies on all of us working together, below is our community guidelines for the current alert level:
L2 policy + procedures:
Contact tracing: please sign in using the NZCOVID tracer app, we have the QR code displays at the bottom and top of the stairs. Our booking system keeps a record of who enters the building also. Make sure if you bring a support person through the doors, they sign in too.
Rescheduling if unwell: you know the drill, if you are even the slightest bit unwell with a respiratory infection, - we ask you to reschedule your appointment/class, you will be credited back the full value of your class/appointment if prepaid. Our instructors and therapists abide by the same policy, so if we need to cancel and cannot cover the class/appointment, you will be refunded.
Minimum 1m apart: We have reduced our yoga class numbers again to 7 people to maintain safe distancing, and our reformer classes stay the same. We
ask you to be mindful when in reception and leaving class to keep your distance from others, and arrive on time to your appointment to decrease mingling in the reception area. We are no longer serving tea, and water - please bring your own drink bottle.
Hygiene/masks: hand sanitiser stations or hand basins are required to be used on entry and exit, cough/sneeze into elbow or tissue, and masks are optional for you to wear. We have removed our props from reformer + yoga, and will not be offering hands on adjustments or assists. The teachers will explain our cleaning protocols to you after class.
Our physiotherapists will be wearing masks during treatment, and you are most welcome to wear a mask too.
Telehealth: we continue to offer Telehealth as an option for Physiotherapy if you prefer, and if the level changes, we will offer Zoom classes for pilates and yoga. For now, it's safe to attend our appointments and classes - and we will update you if anything changes. We will be screening everyone prior to their physio appointments, and masks can be provided if you don't have your own and wish to wear.
